The queen will never be a queen without her king.

So Blacklist International star Jonmar “OhmyV33nus” Villaluna made sure to share her very first regular season MVP award to the other half of the BLCK dynamic duo in Danerie “Wise” Del Rosario.

In a video message posted by Blacklist International through its social media accounts, OhmyV33nus thanked all of her supporters and credited the rest of her team including Wise.

After all, it was the return of the V33wise tandem that ultimately turned the fate of the M3 World Champions after missing the playoffs of the MPL Philippines Season 9 after the two decided to take a one-season hiatus.

“Unang-una sa lahat, maraming maraming salamat kay Wise, yan, kasi 'yung MVP ko is MVP niya rin,” said OhmyV33nus who bagged his first individual award ever since joining the league in Season 4.

“Thank you so much sa teammates ko at siyempre kung hindi naman dahil sa kanila, hindi naman ako magee-mvp and sa supporters, sa fans ng Blacklist and sa Blacklist Agens and VeeWise fam, maraming maraming salamat sa inyong lahat ng suporta niyo sa'min,” she added.

With OhmyV33nus and Wise back in the fold, Blacklist topped the regular season with 29 points on a 9-5 record in the standings. The crew also clinched one of the two spots in the upper bracket semifinals in the playoffs.

Not only that OhmyV33nus was glad to bag her first MVP award but she also savored the recognition which was rarely given to support players in the league.

“Sobrang sobrang special niya kasi knowing na sobrang daming nagstep up na team, sobrang daming nagstep up na players and alam naman natin kung gaano din kadalang mag-MVP ang isang roam/support so sobrang laking bagay sa'kin nito,” furthered OhmyV33nus who popularized support hero picks in Estes, Rafaela, Mathilda and Diggie especially during Blacklist' title runs in MPL Seasons 7 and 8 and the M3 World Championship.

OhmyV33nus also said it was just a timely boost to her confidence heading into the playoffs where Blacklist is set to face the winner between Bren Esports and Omega Esports. The two-time MPL champions are gunning for one of the two spots in the M4 World Championships where they are set to defend their crown.

“Sobrang makaka-boost 'to ng confidence ko especially going to the playoffs. Ayun sobrang saya as in. Shout out sa teammates ko and thank you,” she added.
