Lotlot de Leon hands off on Janine-Paulo relationship rumor

Lotlot de Leon is not keen on dipping her fingers into talks about her daughter Janine Gutierrez's supposed romance with Paulo Avelino.

She would rather let her daughter be, noting she is already old enough to make her own decisions.

Lotlot related at a press conference, “Janine is old enough to decide for herself. I trust Janine."

“Hindi naman na kailangan pa magpaalam sa 'kin ng anak ko. May tiwala naman ako sa kaniya. Kung ano 'yung sa palagay niyang makakabuti para sa kaniya, at kung saan siya masaya, okay na okay ako dun,” she said.

She made clear she will support Janine whatever decision she makes in the end.

"Kung ano man ang magpapasaya sa puso niya, I’m in full support of that,” she reiterated.

“As a mom, I just want her to be happy. I will always pray for my children to be with the right partners, 'yung tama 'yung maging choice nila,” she continued.

This doesn't mean she is doubtful about Paulo.

Lotlot has worked with the actor in the past and she attests to him being kindhearted.

Janine and Paulo have been the subject of speculation in recent months, this, after sharing personal photos of each other on social media.
