Fruit vendor nabbed for allegedly raping 12-year-old daughter in Pasig City
The Pasig City police arrested on Thursday, Oct. 13, a fruit vendor for allegedly raping his 12-year-old daughter in Barangay Bambang, Pasig City.
In a report submitted to Col. Celerino Sacro, chief of police of the Pasig City Police Station, the suspect was identified as alias “Jeff,” 47, a fruit vendor.
The victim and the suspect reportedly came home from school and the market, respectively, on Tuesday afternoon, Oct. 11.
The suspect reportedly waited for his daughter in her bedroom, “maliciously touched and undressed the victim against her will,” and proceeded to rape her.
The victim told her mother about the incident. They immediately sought help from Sub-Station 7 police and the Barangay Bambang Security Force.
Police operatives arrested the suspect at 2 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 13 at G. Balderama Street, Barangay Bambang, Pasig City.
The suspect was brought to the Rizal Medical Center for medical examination.
He was later transferred to the Pasig CPS for the filing of statutory rape charges against him.
