Serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer's story tops Netflix chart for 3rd straight week

The story of American serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer, who murdered 17 people and received 16 life terms, took the No. 1 spot again on Netflix’s weekly chart.

Based on Netflix’s weekly Global Top 10 chart for the most watched shows and films on the platform from Oct. 3 to 9, the series “Dahmer - Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story” got 205.33 million hours viewed.

This is the third straight week that the Dahmer drama topped the Netflix chart.

As a result, the “Dahmer - Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story” is now No. 2 on Netflix’s most popular English shows list with a total 701,370,000 hours viewed.

The most popular list is based on the number of hours viewed on Netflix in the first 28 days. “Stranger Things 4” is still No. 1 with 1.35 billion hours viewed.

In addition, the “Conversations with a Killer: The Jeffrey Dahmer Tapes: Limited Series,” released on Oct. 7, placed second with 31.4 million hours viewed.

Dahmer killed 17 people from 1978 to 1991. In November 1994, while serving his sentence at the Columbia Correctional Institution in Wisconsin, he was killed by a fellow inmate.
