Starting Dec. 9, the Philippine Airlines (PAL) will reopen its direct flights between Cebu City and Bangkok.
In a statement, PAL said the flight will be twice a week and is part of the expansion of international flights for the Mactan-Cebu International Airport.
The flights would be every Monday at 9:30 a.m. for Cebu-Bangkok and every Monday and Friday for Bangkok-Cebu at 1:30 p.m.
“Our Bangkok-Cebu flights give us the opportunity to grow the Philippines-Thailand passenger market, using our Cebu regional hub to boost tourism and economic development,” said PAL President & COO Captain Stanley K. Ng.
“We are happy to offer travelers a choice of nonstop links to the major markets in Asia and beyond, now that more countries are reopening their borders and easing travel restrictions in time for the holiday travel season," he added.
PAL previously operated a Cebu-Bangkok service from December 2017 to March 2020.
