Gang member, cohorts nabbed in Nueva Ecija

CAMP Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – Police arrested a member of criminal gang and his three cohorts involved in robbery and illegal drugs in Nueva Ecija on Thursday, Oct. 13.

Police Regional Office 3 Director Brig. Gen. Cesar Pasiwen identified the suspects as Richard Domingo, a member of the Salvador Robbery and Illegal Drug Group, 36; John Mark Navarro, 29, welder; Julius Ulpindo, 29; and Guillermo Magbitang, 42, all residents of Barangay San Roque, Gapan City.

Suspects were arrested by the Gapan police and other law enforcement units on search warrants issued by Judge Elenita Evangelista-Casipit, executive judge, Regional Trial Court, Gapan City, Nueva Ecija.

Seized from them were two heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu; opened plastic sachet containing residue of suspected shabu weighing 25 grams amounting to P170,000; two heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected marijuana weighing 0.45 grams amounting to P300; a Taurus caliber .40 pistol, and an MK2 fragmentation grenade.
