Drug pusher yields P40,800 shabu in Baguio buy-bust

BAGUIO CITY – Police and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Cordillera arrested a suspected drug pusher in a buy-bust operation on Thursday, Oct. 13, in Barangay Quirino Hill, this city.

PDEA-Cordillera Director Gil Castro identified the suspect as Daniel Tan Cole.

Cole, a high-value target, had been under surveillance for illegal drug activities prior to his arrest.

Suspect yielded two heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing more or less six grams and valued at P40,800.

Also recovered were the buy-bust money, one cellular phone, and one motorcycle.

Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against the suspect.
