DPWH completes P48-M Meycauayan-Marilao road rehab project
The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has completed the rehabilitation of the three-kilometer Meycauayan-Marilao Road in Bulacan.
Bulacan 2nd District Engineering Office (DEO) District Engineer George DC Santos said the project cost P48 million with a provision for asset preservation and preventive maintenance project.

The road improvement project has a total length of 3.052 kilometers and involves concrete re-blocking of damaged pavements, asphalt overlay, and the installation of thermoplastic pavement markings to ensure the safety of motorists.
“Paved roads provide numerous safety benefits for motorists and pedestrians, and the completion of this project will also ease traffic congestion in the area,” Santos said.
The project was funded under the 2022 General Appropriations Act.
According to Santos, the newly-rehabilitated road aims to prevent the early deterioration of the concrete pavements.
The road is the main passage of motorists connecting to Bulacan’s industrial zones and towards the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX).
