Vince Magbuhos powers Adamson past FEU

Vince Magbuhos exploded with a 23-point performance to help Adamson keep the struggling Far Eastern University winless, 76-65, in the UAAP Season 85 men’s basketball tournament on Wednesday, Oct. 12, at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. 

Magbuhos sizzled from beyond the arc, connecting seven out of eight attempts and also hauled in five rebounds to lift the Falcons into a three-way tie with the Universe of the East Red Warriors and the De La Salle Green Archers at 2-2.

The Falcons banked on their third-quarter finish that saw them outscore the Tamaraws by 10 heading into the fourth. 

"I was thinking after the game, marunong pala shumoot ito si Vince. Malaking bagay ito sa amin moving forward," said Adamson head coach Nash Racela.

Patrick Sleat paced FEU with 18 points while Xyrus Torres had 14 points of his own as they remain winless in four outings.
