Herlene Budol to star in upcoming GMA series

Lady luck continues to smile on Herlene Budol.

The Binibining Pilipinas 2022 1st runner-up is set to star in her very own show for GMA, her first, “Magandang Dilag.”

The network just announced the cast of the show.

Apart from Herlene, these include Benjamin Alves, Maxine Medina, Rob Gomez and Adrian Alandy.

Industry veterans Christopher De Leon, Sandy Andolong and Chanda Romero are also part of the show.

Herlene is ecstatic to be part of the network.

She told GMA News, “Parang hindi pa rin po pumapasok sa utak ko na nandito na ako.”

Herlene admitted that it felt surreal for her to actually hobnob with people she used to see only on TV.

“Nakikita ko sila, nakakasama at nakakausap ko na,” she intoned.

As to the show, Herlene hinted that it relates to the world of fashion.

She is happy about it as it reminds her of a line she uttered at the Binibining Pilipinas pageant.

“Nadidikit ko yung, ‘because I know for myself that I am uniquely beautiful with a mission’. Feeling ko maraming nakakarelate na mga tao,” Herlene said.
