Maj. Joery Puerto, head of Police Station 8, identified the suspect as Dennis James Traza, 24, of Barangay Mansilingan here.

Puerto said that Traza allegedly posed as a foreigner on a dating site, where he met the victim, whose name was withheld.

As their conversation progressed, Traza later allegedly asked the victim to send him her nude photos and videos in exchange for P10,000, Puerto said.

Puerto said the victim agreed, believing that he is a foreigner and because of monetary reasons. However, the suspect did not pay the victim. Instead, he allegedly threatened her.

This prompted the victim to report the incident to the police, until the entrapment operation was launched.

Puerto said they advised the victim to meet the suspect as part of their plan.

When they met, the suspect invited the victim to a lodging house and if the victim agreed, she would be allowed to personally delete her nude photos and videos on his cellular phone, Puerto said.

Police arrested Traza and recovered from him a cellular phone, which will be subjected to forensic examination.

Traza was charged with grave threat, acts of lasciviousness, and violation of Republic Act (RA) 9995 or the "Anti-Photo and Video Voyeurism Act of 2009.”
