'Bakuna Bus' of PH Red Cross visits 151 cities, municipalities
One hundred fifty-one cities and municipalities across the country were already visited by the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) "Bakuna" bus to administer Covid-19 vaccine to the most vulnerable individuals.

In a statement, PRC said that 488,201 vaccines and boosters shots were inoculated in these areas through its 20 "Bakuna" busses since its deployment in 2021.
Aside from the vulnerable population and those residing in remote areas, PRC said that they have also vaccinated workers who had no time to visit vaccination centers and hospitals due to work-related reasons.
"Makakaasa ang ating mga kababayan na mananatiling kasangga ng mg lokal na komunidad ang Philippine Red Cross sa pagsugpo sa pandemya (Our countrymen can assure that the Philippine Red Cross will remain a partner of local communities when it comes to stopping the pandemic)," PRC Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Richard Gordon said.
"Patuloy naming ilalapit ang aming serbisyo at bakuna sa pamamagitan ng Bakuna Centers at Bakuna Buses sa ating mga kababayan na nasa vulnerable communities (We will continue bringing our service and vaccine close to those in vulnerable communities through 'Bakuna' Centers and 'Bakuna' Busses)," he continued.
The organization reported that its "Bakuna" busses recently went to Hospicio De San Jose, Philippine General Hospital, Far Eastern University, Bureau of Jail Management and Penology Navotas, Laguna, and Zamboanga, and even the far-flung areas in Mindanao.
"To date, with the assistance of UBE Express, Victory Liner, Ceres Liner, and PRC-owned buses, the PRC "Bakuna" buses have completed a total of 1,220 mobilization trips across the country," PRC said.
The PRC "Bakuna" bus is a vehicle specifically designed to carry Covid-19 vaccines and other medical materials in different parts of the country.
