QCitizens are 5th biggest listeners of Taylor Swift in the world

Quezon City ranked fifth among the cities in the world whose residents were biggest listeners of Taylor Swift, according to the music streaming platform Spotify.

Spotify, on its Twitter page last Oct. 7, released a list of the top 13 cities in the world who listen to the American singer-songwriter (from Sept. 27 to Oct. 4). Quezon City was the only city in the Philippines that made it to the list.

The list was tweeted by the music streaming platform ahead of the release of the singer-songwriter's new album entitled "Midnight" on Oct. 21.

The album includes 13 tracks which Swift said were “stories of 13 sleepless nights scattered throughout my life.”

"Last week, these 13 cities were the biggest Taylor Swift listeners in the world. Will your city be #1 when the clock strikes midnight?" Spotify tweeted.

Based on Spotify's data, London ranked first among the top 13 cities. New York was second, followed by Sydney, and Melbourne.

Also on the list were the cities of Chicago, Los Angeles, Sao Paulo, Mexico City, Singapore, Atlanta, Brisbane, and Dallas.
