Palace mulls 'specific plans' to address soaring fuel prices
Although President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. has yet to lay out specific plans to address the surging prices of oil products, "options are being considered" and discussed, Malacañang said.

Undersecretary and Office of the Press Secretary officer-in-charge (OIC) Cheloy Velicaria-Garafil said in a press briefing that possible solutions to address the problem have been talked about during the Cabinet meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 11.
Garafil said Marcos will come up with "specific plans" in time.
"anina sa Cabinet meeting, mayroong discussion about that pero nagku-consider sila ng mga options and in time mag-a-announce po sila, I’m sure, ng mga (During the Cabinet meeting earlier, there was a discussion about that but they are considering options and in time, they will announce) specific plans and programs to address that issue," Garafil said.
The Palace, however, did not make a position on the calls to suspend excise tax on petroleum products to ease the situation.
