Cagayan task force personnel on red alert for possible onslaught of typhoon 'Maymay'
TUGUEGARAO CITY -- Task Force Lingkod Cagayan (TFLC) personnel are now on red alert status and ready for the possible impact of typhoon ‘Maymay’ in Cagayan.

Arnold Azucena, Officer-in-charge of TFLC, said around 137 personnel of TFLC and its 20 trained flood teams have been placed on red alert too.
The TFLC equipment is also on standby, including four search and rescue; three rescue cars, two L300, four aluminum boats, eight rubber boats, nine outboard motor, six barricades, four xrm single motor, one ambulance, one ambu-truck, two heavy equipment and two jet skis.
Information gathered from the office of Cagayan Provincial Information Office had it that TFLC personnel are already deployed in areas that are now experiencing partial flooding due to the rain and these are Allacapan, Ballesteros, Gonzaga and Aparri.
