Parañaque gov't chosen as finalist in PCCI search for most business-friendly LGU
The city government of Parañaque was chosen as one of the finalists in this year’s search for the most business-friendly local government unit (LGU) organized by the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI).
The 48th PCCI Business Conference and Awarding Ceremony will be held on Oct. 20 at the Manila Hotel.
Mayor Eric Olivarez discussed during the panel presentation the programs and services being implemented by the city government to ease business transactions in the city.
Olivarez said the city government implemented Project Express Lane Operation, Business Identification Number Coding Scheme, Tax Amnesty Program, Vaccination Immunization Program, Parañacash, MSME development and other similar activities intended to alleviate the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic.
He thanked PCCI president George Barcelon and awards committee chairperson Jose Alejandro for giving the city government a chance to showcase their best practices.
The mayor told the committee that the city government is committed to continuously raise the bar of excellence for every Parañaque resident.
