Off-duty cop helps victim of fake job offer in Pampanga

An off-duty policeman recently helped a man who was a victim of a fake job offer in Candaba, Pampanga.

Jerry Boy Pise was offered to work by someone in a duck farm and brought him to a tricycle terminal in Bahay Pare.

The person told Pise to stay and wait for him there.

However, his recruiter never returned and Pise was left wandering in the area for three days.

Pise, penniless and hungry, asked help from a man who turned out to be off-duty policeman Patrolman Renz Wendel de Guzman of the Pampanga 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company.

De Guzman helped Pise after he revealed his predicament, giving him food and money for his fare home to Paranaque City.

Pise profusely thanked De Guzman for helping him.

Police reminded the public to be wary of job offers to avoid what happened to Pise.
