BAGUIO CITY – The Department of Tourism-Cordillera will hold the first-ever Cordillera Festival of Festivals Show at Malcolm Square People's Park here on Saturday, Oct. 15.

Tourism Secretary Christina Frasco is expected to attend the event showcasing different major festivals of provinces comprising the Cordillera Administrative Region.
These are Abra’s Laga Festival, Apayao’s Say-am Festival, the Panagbenga Festival here, Benguet’s Adivay Festival, Ifugao’s Gotad Ad Ifugao, Kalinga’s Bodong Festival, and Mountain Province’s Lang-ay Festival.
Jovi Ganongan, DOT-Cordillera director, said the festival seeks to re-strengthen and promote tourism in the region.
Ganongan described the event as a visual delight and display of colors.
“Witness how it will happen before our eyes after three long years of loss, caused by the pandemic,” added Ganongan.
A parade at 8 a.m. on Session Road ushers in the event.
