Robin undergoes heart procedure at Asian Hospital

Senator Robinhood ‘’Robin’’ C. Padilla has undergone heart procedure at the Asian Hospital in Muntinlupa City today.

A statement from Padilla’s media relations office stated that the senator has been cleared to go home.

It further stated that Padilla would ‘’continue with his recovery during the weekend, and expects to return to his work and normal routines soonest.’’

‘’He is deeply thankful for the outpouring of prayers and well wishes for his speedy recovery,’’ it added.

Last June, Padilla was rushed to a hospital in Spain for hypertension, after feeling dizzy and weak while walking in a park. His blood pressure then was 200/150.

The actor and senator-elect was then traveling in Spain with his family.

In his Facebook account last June 1, Padilla said that It’s so hard to understand what happened to him.

‘’I don’t have any medical conditions but I suddenly felt weak in the knees while I was walking in the park, which is why I sat down under a tree. My vision darkened and I fell on the tree behind me. I was so dizzy,’’ said in Tagalog.
