Isolated rain showers, thunderstorms to prevail across PH

The whole archipelago will have fair weather due to partly cloudy to cloudy conditions with chances of rain showers or thunderstorms in the next 24 hours, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said on Saturday, Oct. 1.

PAGASA said the intertropical convergence zone and localized thunderstorms will be the dominant weather systems in the country.

The public is advised to stay vigilant against possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms, which are often accompanied by sudden heavy rains, lightning, thunder, gusty winds, and sometimes hail.

As of Saturday, no gale warning was in effect over the country’s seaboards as slight to moderate seas may prevail over the entire archipelago.
