BLACKPINK, NCT 127 top Hanteo's monthly physical album chart for September

K-pop groups BLACKPINK and NCT 127 grabbed the first two places on the monthly physical album chart in South Korea for the month of September.

Korea’s Hanteo Chart released the ranking of the best-selling physical albums for September.

BLACKPINK’s “Born Pink” took first place with 1,606,398 copies and a physical record index of 1,927,443.10.

NCT 127’s “2 Baddies” is in second place with 1,636,179 copies sold in September and a physical record index of 1,702,626.

Hanteo Chart now uses the physical record index, which incorporates the price of an album, in its ranking. It previously used the actual number of copies sold in ranking albums.

While “2 Baddies” sold more than “Born Pink,” the latter placed first when the physical record index was computed.

NMIXX’s “Entwurf” placed third followed by IVE’s “After Like,” ONEUS’ “Malus,” EXO member Xiumin’s “Brand New,” Cravity’s “New Wave,” TWICE’s “Between 1 & 2,” Aespa’s “Girls” and Kim Jae-joong’s “Born Gene.”

Here are the 30 best-selling albums in South Korea in September ranked based on Hanteo Chart’s physical record index:
