TCL taps Kathryn Bernardo as brand endorser in the Philippines

TCL Electronics has signed up TV and movie actress Kathryn Bernardo as its first-ever celebrity ambassador in the Philippines. The move is part of the leading consumer electronics brand’s commitment to ‘Inspire Greatness’ through providing consumers with the best possible experience and technological innovations.

The actress’ contract signing came after the brand teased its newest endorser during their grand media launch last September 24, 2022. Present in the signing were TCL Electronics CEO Mr. Loyal Cheng, Marketing Head Mr. Michael Zheng, and Branding Manager Ms. Angeli Patricio.

The 26-year-old celebrity is among the most influential personalities in the country, according to Forbes Asia, Metro Society magazine, and other media and civic organizations. Bernardo has also earned the moniker Box Office Queen of her generation after top-billing back-to-back films that each broke records by earning over ₱800 million each—a feat that has yet to be matched by any actor in the contemporary times. She has also starred in successful TV shows that dominated local ratings.
