UPCA 2023 application to close on Oct. 15

The University of the Philippines College Admissions (UPCA) application for the academic year (AY) 2023-2024 is set to be closed on Oct. 15, UPCAT - U.P. System reminded in a Facebook post.

Interested applicants may visit the UP Office of Admissions' official website.

"Please make sure to submit all requirements, online application forms and the hard copy of records, by 15 October 2022," UPCAT - U.P. System said.

Inquiries for UPCA 2023 can be sent to the official helpdesk channel of the university's admission office or UPCAT - U.P. System's Messenger room.

UPCA 2023 was opened last Sept. 16.

This will be the last admission process without the traditional in-person pen and paper test after UP announced on Sept. 22 that a face-to-face UPCAT will be held on June 3 and 4, 2023 for the AY 2024-2025.

"This was decided during a meeting on September 14, 2022, of UP’s President’s Advisory Council (PAC), which includes the President and the Vice Presidents of the UP System, the Secretary of the University and the Board of Regents, the Chancellors of UP’s eight constituent universities, the Director of the UP Philippine General Hospital, and the Executive Director of the UP Bonifacio Global City Campus," UP said in an advisory.

The application for UPCAT 2024 will be on March 2023 and further details are yet to be finalized, UP said.

"The early opening of applications for UPCAT 2024 and the holding of the UPCAT in June will ensure the timely release of results in light of the anticipated large increase in applications," UP added.
