Charlie and JC shed light on the importance of mental health in 'MMK'

Charlie Dizon and JC Alcantara star in a special episode about Joan (Charlie), who is willing to do anything to improve her sister's mental health and rebuild their relationship this Saturday (Oct. 8) on “MMK” in commemoration of World Mental Health Day.

Joan and Jaira (Bea Clark) grew up in a stern and unloving environment when they were young. Their only memories of their deceased mother were the times they were reprimanded or physically harmed when she became angry. Their strict father was especially tough with Joan, causing her to take out her anger on her younger sister.

Both sisters became estranged. The death of their father, however, compelled Joan to mend their relationship. With the help of her boyfriend, Rommel (JC Alcantara), how will she be able to break the wall between them after realizing Jaira has schizophrenia?

"MMK" is available on A2Z, Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Onlive Live on on ABS-CBN Entertainment's YouTube channel and Facebok page, and iWantTFC. Outside the Philippines, it is available on The Filipino Channel, a cable and IPTV channel.
