Results out for October 2022 Metallurgical Engineer board exam; UPD grads lead top spots


Thirty-one out of 47 examinees successfully passed the Metallurgical Engineer Licensure Examination held last Oct. 3, 4, and 5, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Friday, Oct. 7.

The exam was given by Chairman Agustin M. Fudolig and Juancho Pablo S. Calvez from the Board of Metallurgical Engineering in Manila and Cagayan de Oro.

Graduates from the University of the Philippines Diliman soared to the top three highest places on the board exam.

They were Christian Jimenez Basa on top one with 84.65 percent followed by Mac Rounseville Lachica Eugenio with 82.30 percent, and Riana Athalia Gabriel Evangelista with 81.15 percent.

The date and venue of the oathtaking ceremony are yet to be announced.

"On October 28 and October 31, 2022, registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line," PRC said.

Instruction for the initial registration can be found on the PRC website.

Those who will register are required to present the following: "downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, notice of admission (for identification only), 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag), 2 sets of documentary stamps and 1 piece short brown envelope."

"Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals," the commission added.
