Macbeth's 20th-anniversary show brings out local rock bands and fashion runway

On Macbeth's 20th anniversary, the show will leave one of the most memorable moments for the audience, as the brand has come up with a concept of merging fashion and live music.

The event will feature local rock bands and artists including Rico Blanco, Urbandub, Mayonaise, Snakefight, Written By The Stars, Soapdish, and more.

Benjie Estanislao, director of the show, gave out a few details about what will happen during the event. According to him, having this kind of show will be the first to happen in the Philippines.

"It is a big surprise, a normal big event where there are two bands set up on two different stages and putting a catwalk in both setups pero leading them both in one. This is a show you really want to see, of course, we also have these super bands and the fashion show, there's a lot, lot more, iba-ibang surprises din ito," he mentioned.

The fashion show will feature three sets of the collection: the Denim collection, the Rock collection, and the 20th collection. Some 30 models will make their way on the runway.

According to the Marketing Director of Macbeth Philippines, France Santiago, they want to uplift the new collection of Macbeth and also highlight the music scene during the event.

"We want our audience to see our collection, and we want to highlight our music scene rin, kaya we want to merge two worlds yung underground and mainstream music into one plus the fashion show," France said.

Macbeth's 20th-anniversary show will be held at the Metro Tent Convention Center in Pasig City on Oct. 8. The gates open at 11 AM. (Carissa Alcantara)
