Drug pusher yields P346,000 shabu in Quezon buy-bust

Police arrested a suspected drug pusher and seized shabu valued at P346,800 in a buy-bust operation in Villa San Pablo Subdivision, Barangay Ibabang Iyam, Lucena City, Quezon on Friday, Oct. 7.

Lucena City police chief Lt. Col. Reynaldo Reyes identified the suspect as Jayson Canales, 34, alias “Bakla,” of Purok Pag-asa, Barangay Cotta, Lucena City.

Canales yielded 17 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of P346,800. Recovered from him were the boodle money and a motorcycle.

Suspect is in the custody of the local police and is facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002.
