Metrobank bags SSS 'Best Collecting Partner Award'

Metropolitan Bank & Trust Co. (Metrobank) announced that it has recently received from the Social Security System (SSS) the 2022 SSS Balikat ng Bayan Best Collecting Partner Award under Bank Category.

“We are honored to be recognized by the Social Security System as a reliable partner in delivering service to both the agency and the Filipino people,” said Paul Robert Murga,Metrobank Executive Vice President and Operations Group Head.

Metrobank received the award from President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. Murga and First Vice President and Head of Institutional Investors Coverage for Metrobank, Ruben Zamora were handed the SSS recognition. Also present during the ceremony are Special Assistant to the President Antonio Lagdameo Jr., Labor Secretary Bienvenido Laguesma, SSS President Michael Regino, and SSS Commissioner Diana Pardo Aguilar.

The SSS Balikat ng Bayan Awards was established in 1995 to honor individuals, employers, and organizations that significantly contributed to the SSS’ pursuit of its mandate. Awardees are recognized for their compliance to the provisions of the Social Security Law in terms of coverage and giving out of benefits, accuracy and timelines in their submission of reports to SSS, and participation in SSS programs.
