September 2022 Veterinarian Licensure Exam results are out; oath-taking to be held online


The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that 335 out of 928 examinees passed the September 2022 Veterinarian Licensure Examination.

The online oath taking for new veterinarians will be on Oct. 27 at 9 a.m. to be headed by PRC- Koronadal via Microsoft Teams, the commission said on Tuesday, Oct. 4.

“Inductees shall wear a formal or business attire and use a white backdrop (white physical or virtual background) throughout the oath taking ceremony,” PRC reminded.

Eight out of 10 successful examinees who entered the top 10 highest places were from the University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB).

It was led by Kenny Vergara Pique with 84.90 percent.

UPLB was also held as the top performing school with 55 out of 62 examinees who passed the board.

The exam was given by the Board of Veterinary Medicine in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Koronadal, Legazpi , and Tuguegarao last September 2022, said PRC on Monday, Oct. 3.

Dr. Ma. Elizabeth D. Callanta and Dr. Maximino M. Montenegro from the Board of Veterinary Medicine gave the said exam.

“On November 2 to November 4, 2022, registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to www.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration,” PRC said.
