MB Daily News Update: Angeles, Calida, Rodriguez out; 10 Cabinet members reappointed

President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. has reappointed 10 members of his Cabinet, who were bypassed by the Commission on Appintments (CA).

But while 10 were reappointed, three others left as Press Secretary Trixie Cruz Angeles, Presidential Chief of Staff Vic Rodriguez, and Commission on Audit (COA) Chair Jose Calida resigned for different reasons.

Meanwhile, more than 55,000 health workers are set to receive their special risk allowance for services rendered at the height of the Covid-19 pandemic with a total amount of P1.05 billion, according to the Department of Budget and Management (DBM).
