He kicked off the world tour in Seoul on Sept. 24 and said Manila was his first stop in the Asia leg of the concert.

“Actually I did it in Seoul but actually the Philippines is the first stop of my world tour. Actually it’s the first that I’m doing in my world tour and for the GOT7 concert,” he said.

GOT7 held their “Keep Spinning” world tour in the Philippines in October 2019, the first stop in Asia and eventually became the last as the pandemic forced the cancellation of the other dates.

“What a coincidence. I actually think like, maybe, it was kind of something like destiny with the concert in the Philippines. Do you think the same way too? I’ll try to come with the complete members next time,” he said.

At his solo concert in Manila, Jay B performed more than 20 songs. He opened the concert with “Switch It Up,” a song from his first mini-album “SOMO: Fume” that was released in 2021.

He followed this with “Ride,” “AM PM,” “In To You,” “Dive Into You,” “Count On Me,” “Sunrise,” “B.T.W,” “Fame,” “Fade Away” and “Rainy.”

Jay B surprised the audience when Reid appeared on stage as his special guest.

Reid and Jay B performed “Hello 2.0 (Legends Only),” a remix of the former’s “Hello” song which featured Jay B and hip-hop artist ØZI.

He thanked Jay B for agreeing to be part of the song.

“I super love this song and I’m just really grateful that Jay B said yes to be in my track. It’s my first ever doing a collaboration so I’m super grateful,” said Reid.

Jay B said, “I was actually very surprised by the cheers” adding that he is looking forward to another chance to work with Reid.

“It will be my honor,” said Reid, who also performed “u & i” at the concert.

For the rest of the concert, Jay B sang “go UP,” “The Way We Are,” “Livin,” “Fountain of Youth,” “Break It Down,” “Holyday” and “Rocking Chair.” He also performed “NaNaNa,” a GOT7 medley consisting of “Page,” “Teenager,” “Breath,” “Thursday” and “NaNaNa,” “Go Higher,.” “Sunset with You” and “Right.”

A fan-made video was also shown during the concert, which surprised Jay B.

“What’s this guys? Thank you so much guys,” he said and the fans chanted “best leader!”

“Because of you guys, I’m trying my best to be the best leader. Actually I was very pressured with the title of leader. I’m quite worried on how to keep the position but yeah, I’ll do my best,” he said.

During the concert, Jay B got down to the audience area while he was performing.

As he wrapped up his solo concert, Jay B thanked the people behind the show and the fans who went to watch him.

“A lot of applause to the director and dancers who prepared this concert. And to Pulp promoter, thank you so much. And actually the one who is making the concert is us, you and I, the directors and everyone so I would like to thank you guys for making this concert,” he said.

Jay B’s “Tape: Press Pause” world tour in Manila was presented by Pulp Live World.
