Here’s what went down during the multi-sensory party
Converse Philippines always hosts the best parties. And after two years of hiatus because of the pandemic, the iconic brand brought back the fun through a multi-sensorial and experiential pop-up event which gathered the coolest and stylish set of young Manila into the music, art, and fashion scenes.
The pop-up happened at Kondwi in Poblacion, Makati, where exhibitions and performances occurred. During the celebration, Converse dropped some sneaker collections like the Chuck 70 Plus, Run Star Legacy, and Converse x Keith Haring apparels collaboration.
One popular spot during the night was the tattoo area where artists from the Moon Room Tattoo inked willing guests. Attendees also got the chance to win a year’s worth of Converse supply by designing and showing their unique personalities translated to their canvas bags.
The night was also filled with musical performances which attendees got to enjoy. DJ Honest, DJ Kat, DJ Kate Jagdon, Timmy, and sibling duo YsanYgo were present together with Juan Labajo and his band Juan Karlos who performed their hit song “Buwan.”
Among the sea of next generation creatives, attendees and ambassadors who showed up were Ruru Madrid, Bianca Umali and Rere Madrid with Converse Philippines Marketing Head Arvie Dizon, who hinted mounting #CreateNext Pop-Ups in Pampanga, Davao, Bacolod, and more key cities in the country for an extended celebration.
