MB Daily News Update: Rare lotto winning combination; even rarer number of winners

It looked more like a mathematical equation rather than the winning combination for the 6/55 Grand Lotto last Saturday, Oct. 1, 2022, and had a total of 433 winning bettors for the top prize that shared the more than P236-million jackpot.

This had Senator Kiko Pimentel suspecting that there could be something fishy about the draw, and has called for a Senate probe on the controversial draw.

Meanwhile, the passenger rate increases in public utility vehicles will be implemented on Monday, Oct. 3, 2022, and the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) has reminded the public to only pay for the fare hike if there are fare matrices posted on the PUV.
