MB Daily News Update: Meralco Ave to be closed for six yrs
A reduction in the price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) by P28.05 per 11-kilogram cylinder provides a much-needed relief for consumers after the price cut was announced on Saturday by industry players.
Meanwhile, another round of rollback in the price fer liter of diesel, gasoline, and kerosene is expected to be implemented next week.
But after the good news for consumers came the bad news for motorists after the Department of Transportation (DOTr) announced the closure of Meralco Avenue from October 3, 2022, to make way for the construction of the Ortigas and Shaw Boulevard stations of the Metro Manila Subway Project. The construction is expected to last six years.
