De La Salle makes its much-awaited debut in the Shakey’s Super League Collegiate Pre-season Championship when it faces Far Eastern University on Saturday, Oct. 1, at the Rizal Memorial Stadium in Manila.

After the games were postponed last week due to typhoon Karding, the SSL will return with another quadruple-header bannered by the clash between the Lady Spikers and the Lady Tamaraws at 5:30 p.m.

FEU, which is coming off a hard-earned 25-20, 24-26, 19-25, 25-22, 15-11 victory against College of St. Benilde, will try to get its second win in Pool D.

Chenie Tagaod paced FEU with 20 points built on 17 attacks and three service aces to secure the first win for the Lady Tamaraws.

The Lady Spikers' much-awaited return to the league will see them rely on their solid lineup in Jolina dela Cruz, Fifi Sharma, Mars Alba, Leila Cruz together with Rookie of the Year favorite Leiah Malaluan and first Best Middle Blocker Thea Gagate to hold off its UAAP rival.

San Sebastian, meanwhile, will make an attempt to stop the Eya Laure-led University of Santo Tomas at 10:00 a.m. to kick off the adjusted quadruple schedule.

University of the East and Perpetual, who are both coming off with their respective wins, are looking to start a winning streak at the expense of each other in their 12:30 p.m. encounter.

UAAP Final Four contender Ateneo will make its debut in the rebranded league against NCAA runner-up Arellano at 3:00 p.m.
