Orphaned at a young age, Eloy Borja has always been self-aware but everything– fortunate and unfortunate, has been happening in his life. When he was in grade school he lost his mom in a car accident, while the father was framed for killing the mom, the dad, Fred Borja spent the next 12 years in jail paying for a crime he never did.
When he was absorbed/adopted by the newly separated Corazon “Lola Heart” Aquino, who happened to be a very accommodating and loving woman, he never used his situation to prove that he is worthy to be there. As soon as he entered the house, while his heart was broken and tears were flowing from his cheeks, he grabbed all the cleaning materials and started mopping the floor by hand. And even if he was constantly reminded that he should not be doing such, he would insist on making sure, he will never be a burden.
And as he was growing up, the boy turned out to be an intelligent young mechanic and law student who vows to free his father from jail, Eloy tries to overcome the grief of his mother's death -- but instead of letting life break him more, he instead used this weakness and turned this into his very strength to do good and be great in life. Allowing the memory and love of his late mother be his driving force to become the person that he is now. Since he became an orphan, he betters himself each day as a mechanic (like his dad), so he will be able to fend financially for himself, or his now, lola heart, and for whatever is needed for his school and other day-to-day expenses.
The very friends that eventually became his siblings. They move as one unit – ready to take a bullet for each other. When a man has a goal, a purpose, he gives his own and others their due respect. He honors his own methods and goals, and those by which other men set their goals and purpose.
Their friendship was based on utmost Respect, Trust and Loyalty for each other.
While Eloy was the more driven person in their group, he respected whatever kept the others afloat.
But each day he indirectly sees it to be an inspiration to most, especially to people from his Purok Onse Community and his friends. EVERYDAY – He sees to it that he is able to convey a message to people –that no man should be measured according to his past alone, that no man should be quick to judge anyone amidst probability of cause, unless proven otherwise.
He entered the Agcaoili Mansion, disguising himself as a mechanic. As time went by, he got to know the unguarded Hugo Agcaoili – who secretly has been remorseful for being less of a father to Hanna Agcaoili. And during these moments in this invisible war that Eloy secretly has for Hugo, he got to know the beautiful man in Lolo Sir instead. And after a volunteer DNA which has proven that indeed he is the sole heir of The Hugo Agcaoili, he never showed greed, or secret plans that included any selfish plans. Though he was recently just appointed as the new Chairman, Eloy is yet to disappoint Henna and her pouting lips – which I highly doubt will ever happen. And while, Lolo Sir insists for his house aids to start giving eloy the utmost treatment he best deserves, he was quick to appreciate and gracefully decline the suggestion. It’s enough that they were all able to establish a friendship based on respect and trust – and that alone is enough.
Eloy Borja – A real empowered man, who chooses each day to empower men. He may now be rich enough to buy anyone’s soul, but he chooses to remain humble, loving and inspiring.

An empowered man makes more moves and less announcements.
When Daniel was asked how the same is he from his character from the real DJ -- he said that there are a lot of similarities. Such as, he grew up with an absentee father due to circumstances, however, he never stopped believing that second chances are very possible in life, esp if we are talking about family. Also, people may not know of the fact that once upon a time, life seems unfair, esp financially with Dianiel growing up. BUT, this never stopped him from trying to look through every possibility to earn with her mom during the darker hours then. An on the times that they will be able to take home, even just enough to fend their daily means, he would never ever forget to count these blessings... Yes, small or big, blessings are blessings.
And I would say, much as we all know how successful Daniel Padilla is now, no amount of fame, nor money has been enough to have a changed of heart or taste in Life. As per Kap Rosales aka Cris Villanueva, once said, he would agree that Daniel Padilla is one of the most humble superstar actors he has ever met. He has always remained sincerely caring towards other - saw that he would take care of ALL -- no exception at all -- the cast of 2good2btrue. Not even stray cats that would randomly cross the set miss his sincere heart... Amidst him being busy studying his lines, and thinking of more ways to improve his character, Daniel would have time to secretly feed these stray cats and dogs hiding under the table.
