The Philippine Army (PA) turned over 68 new mobility assets to the 10th Infantry Division (10ID) in Mawab, Davao de Oro over the weekend.

Lt. Gen. Romeo Brawner Jr., Army Commanding General, said the new assets were composed of 21 KM250 trucks, 14 Toyota sports utility vehicles (SUVs), and 33 Kawasaki and Bajaj motorcycles.
“The new mobility assets, which are procured through the Philippine Army Modernization Program, will be distributed to the division’s line units,” Brawner said.
The blessing of the new mobility assets was held on Friday, Jan. 7, at 10ID headquarters in Camp General Manuel Yan Sr. in Mawab, Davao de Oro led by Maj. Gen. Ernesto Torres Jr., 10ID commander.
Brawner said the provision of the new assets was part of his commitment to ensure push down much-needed resources to all Army units nationwide.
The CGPA said this will allow the 100,000-strong Philippine Army to comply with President Duterte’s directive to end the local communist armed conflict before he steps down from office in June, and help the Commission on Elections (Comelec) ensure a peaceful and orderly national polls in May.
