Paranaque City gov't to strictly implement 'no vax card, no entry' at City Hall

The Paranaque City government will strictly require people entering the City Hall to present their vaccination certificates or cards at the gate amid the increasing COVID-19 cases in the city.

Mayor Edwin Olivarez said all employees and the taxpayers visiting the City Hall must show their vaccination certificates or cards before their entry to the building to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in its offices.

He told the taxpayers that only fully vaccinated individuals will be allowed inside the City Hall.

Olivarez said based on the report submitted by the City Health Office (CHO) and the City Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit (CESU), the city recorded 179 new cases, bringing the COVID-19 tally to 901.

Olivarez said that six out of the 16 barangays in the city recorded a high number of COVID-19 cases. They are Barangays BF Homes with 111 cases; San Antonio with 98; Merville with 97; Baclaran with 89; and San Isidro and Moonwalk, both with 73.

He said the city government will also strictly implement the stay-at-home policy for the unvaccinated individuals. They will only be allowed to go out when buying the basic necessities.
