GSIS limits onsite operations


The Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) announced that it will limit its onsite operations following the imposition of the Alert Level 3 in the National Capital Region (NCR).

In an advisory, GSIS said its Head Office in Pasay City and its branch offices in Mindanao Avenue, Quezon City, and Bulacan will limit their onsite operations to services including eCard enrollment and card releasing; cashiering; check releasing; issuance of clearance, certifications, and final statement of accounts; and housing and non-life insurance.

"For the safety of visiting clients and GSIS personnel on rotational duty assignments, the operating hours of our onsite services will be from 8 a.m. until 12 noon except cashiering which will be open from 8 a.m until 3 p.m," GSIS said.

Meanwhile, all clients who are already in their service areas by 12 noon or cashiering by 3 p.m. will be accommodated.

The filing of applications for loans and claims, including applications under the Lease with Option to Buy Program will be contactless through email, eGSISMO, GWAPS kiosks, or drop boxes stationed at the lobbies of GSIS offices.

Payment of individual loans may also be done through Bayad Center partners listed on the GSIS website.

The conduct of Annual Pensioners Information (APIR) interviews will be strictly online. Pensioners may schedule their online APIR appointment through text or email.
