Alyssa Valdez tested positive for COVID-19, agency says

Following her stint on "Pinoy Big Brother" where she finished in the Top 2, athlete Alyssa Valdez has tested positive for coronavirus.

The news was announced by her agency.

On Twitter, V Management Group released an official statement, tweeting: "After experiencing some mild symptoms and a confirmatory RT-PCR test, Alyssa tested positive for COVID-19."

"Thank you for the prayers (folded hands emoji) Please stay safe!"

"Rest assured that Alyssa is taking the necessary precautions and will be recovering from home,” they reiterated.

"We are one with the rest of the Filipinos in praying for everyone's good health and safety."

Alyssa re-tweeted the message, extending gratitude to those who are praying for her fast recovery.
