Ping Lacson tells Alex Gonzaga: 'Keep it up!'

Actress-social media influencer Alex Gonzaga had a wonderful time singing Christmas carols for Presidential aspirant Sen. Panfilo "Ping" Lacson Sr. during the holidays.

On Facebook uploaded by Ping, Alex and her companions sang traditional holiday tunes in front of the senator's satellite office.

The carolers began with "Sa May Bahay Ang Aming Bati" which segued into "We Wish You A Merry Christmas."

Ping listened first to the carolers. Then he asked them: "Para saan ba itong cause na ito?"

Alex jokingly said: "Para lang po sa mga bulsa namin."

Ping smiled and said: "Kung sa bulsa lang ninyo coins lang ilalagay ko. Pero kung para sa... halimbawa sa street children." Then Ping put some money into the ampao.

When Alex and her friends saw it, they shouted: "Ping Lacson! Ping Lacson! Mabuhay si Ping Lacson!"

On Facebook, Ping wrote: "Hindi man kasing kapal ng pamasko ni Sen. Pacquiao ang bigay ko, alam kong maraming natulungan ito dahil pinagsama-sama mo. Happy New Year and keep it up, Alex Gonzaga!"

Alex, star of the MMFF horror flick "Exorsis," did not say how much money Ping gave them.

Later, Alex revealed that the money raised from caroling was used in buying Noche Buena packages for the poor. Her friends also donated to the victims of typhoon "Odette."

Ping is the standard-bearer of Partido Reporma in the 2022 national elections. His runningmate is Sen. Tito Sotto III.
