'Squid Game' star Hoyeon Jung looks stunning as Vogue's February 2022 cover star

In the latest magazine issue, the model-actress talked about her instant fame and losing weight due to stress

Fans of South Korean star Hoyeon Jung know that she, prior to becoming a global actress, is a fashion muse. This time, she cements her niche in the fashion world as more than just a model by gracing the cover of Vogue magazine’s February 2022 issue.

Photographed by Harley Weir and styled by Alex Jordan Harrington, the “Squid Game” actress looks stellar on the cover wearing a Louis Vuitton cape and dress with embroidered sequins and Alexander McQueen earrings. The fashion continues with a floral number with a Vera Wang gown layered over a Stella McCartney bodysuit. And like a supernova, Hoyeon Jung brought a celestial effect with bedazzled Miu Miu dress.

In her interview, she talked about her overnight fame saying, “My entire life changed in just one month.” Also, she discussed how her struggle with stardom affected her life, most recently, the talk of her losing too much weight.

“I don’t know why, but I couldn’t eat. I was so confused, and it was so chaotic,” she said. “I didn’t believe it. I didn’t trust it.”
