Las Pinas City gov't urges unvaccinated minors to get jabs

The Las Pinas City government said the unvaccinated individuals belonging to the pediatric population can get their jabs against COVID-19 from Jan. 10 to 12.

Mayor Imelda Aguilar advised the parents of minors aged 12 to 17 to wait for the text message coming from the city government regarding the time and date of their visit at the vaccination sites.

Aguilar said the city government is scheduling the inoculation of minors to avoid overcrowding and to ensure the observance of minimum health protocols at the vaccination sites.

The mayor stressed the importance of vaccinating the pediatric population, especially now that the National Capital Region (NCR) is considered as high risk for COVID-19.

Aguilar also called on the unvaccinated seniors to get themselves jabbed for their protection.

The mayor added the city government is allowing walk-in for senior citizens in all the city’s vaccination sites.
