HD Spikers acquire Meneses, Molina and Malabanan for next PVL season

The Cignal HD Spikers made their title campaign felt in future Premier Volleyball League tournaments with the acquisition of key players Riri Meneses, Ces Molina and Jerrili Malabanan.

The team announced this development in social media Thursday night with hopes of boosting their roster following a last-place finish in the Open Conference last year held in Bacarra, Ilocos Norte.

The acquisition of Meneses, Molina and Malabanan came after the trio did not renew their contracts with the PetroGazz Angels.

Molina and Malabanan played as opposite and outside hitters for the Angels, while Meneses was an outside blocker.

Aside from the three standouts, the Angels have also recruited former PLDT middle blocker Marist Layug and Glaudine Troncoso from Sta. Lucia.

With the new addition, the new recruits will join skipper Rachel Anne Daquis, Jheck Dionela and Ayel Estrañero.
