Netizen asks paracetamol from John Lloyd Cruz

With paracetamol supplies now running out, a netizen found another way how he could get Biogesic.

On social media, a netizen sent a message to Kapuso star John Lloyd Cruz asking for the popular paracetamol brand.

Having endorsed Biogesic in the past, the netizen believes John Lloyd, star of the Kapuso rom-com series "Happy ToGetHer," still has stocks of the branded paracetamol.

The netizen's message read: "Idol Popoy. Baka naman meron tayo jan Biogesic. Kahit tatlong banig lang idol. Nagkakabusan na sa mga drugs stores eh. Solid fan mo ako bro since Tabing Ilog days. Ingat!"

Paracetamol (Biogesic) is a medication that is typically used to relieve mild to moderate pain such as headache, backache, menstrual cramps, muscular strain, minor arthritis pain, toothache and reduced fevers caused by illnesses such as common cold and flu.

Reports said that there has been a shortage of paracetamol during the flu season in the country.

But the Department of Health and the Department of Trade and Industry have denied it.
