Katarina Rodriguez on Typhoon Odette donors: 'Don't donate clothes you won't even wear'
By John Legaspi
Weeks after the onslaught of Typhoon Odette in the Visayas and Mindanao regions, Filipinos living in the area are still in need of help that is why donation drives and relief operations are still ongoing even if NCR is now on a brink of experiencing another COVID-19 surge. Apart from the government and NGOs, celebrities and even the fashion community are lending a helping hand to help the affected areas and their people to help them get back on their feet fast. And among them is beauty queen-actress, Katarina Rodriguez.
Considering Siargao, one of the badly hit spots, as her new home, Katarina's heart goes to the people who are currently suffering the aftermath of the storm, and she has been busy with her efforts to help out. But through a series of Instagram stories, the new mom lectures everyone about what it means to send donations, specifically about clothing.

In one of her Instagram stories, she aired her frustration saying, “Don’t donate clothes you won’t even wear... Hindi naman dahil walang-wala na sila ay deserve nila ang basura ng mga tao (It is not because they have nothing that they deserve people's trash).” She went on and advise not to send clothes if they are already tattered or unwearable.
In the past months, the former Miss World Philippines titleholder has been staying in Siargao with her non-showbiz partner based on the island, businessman Niño Barbers.
