Celebrity mom Iya Villania says there's no such thing as a hopeless cook. Her advice is to just spend more time in the kitchen, practice a lot and see the miracle unfold.
"Öne person who can attest to my growth in the kitchen is my hubby. Drew used to be the more confident cook, but now the Mrs has stepped up," Iya wrote in her Instagram.
The soon-to-be mom of four shares her transformation to becoming a kitchen diva with her cousin, Chef Jose Sarasola when their show "Eat Well, Live Well. Stay Well" begins its third season this Friday, Jan. 7, 11.20 AM in GMA Network.
Both stars expressed their happiness and thankfulness to GMA and their followers because reaching Season 3 for the cooking show was not an easy feat.
Chef Jose thinks the show has been successful because of the support of their sponsor Ajinomoto. Most importantly, the recipes are very practical and can readily be tried at home using available ingredients.
"We have an amazing team of chefs that work with us. They tweak common recipes to make it more unique. And the result are these amazing set of dishes that people can try for themselves at home," the bachelor chef stated.
For Season 1, Iya and Chef Jose had their audiences hooked with such dishes as Honey Lemon Butter Salmon, Bringhe and Linguine in Creamy Mushroom Mushroom Sauce. While for Season 2, there were Oriental favorites like Charlie Chan pasta, yakisoba and bibimbap. The two hosts revealed that for the third season of their cooking show, their viewers can expect a variety of treats such as what to prepare for a party, after a workout and during a special occasion like Valentine's Day.
Iya says the title of the show says it all : they aim to deliver the gospel of health in the dishes they create without sacrificing good taste. She added that healthy offerings are especially important during this pandemic, when people are striving to increase their immunity and avoiding getting sick.
"It's really true that if you eat well, you live well. Food can really heal. But people need to be consistent in living this kind of lifestyle. Healthy resolutions do not just happen at the beginning of the year," Iya noted.
