Manila opens drive-thru COVID booster vax site for delivery riders


Delivery riders can get their COVID-19 booster shots at a drive-thru vaccination site set up at the Bonifacio Shrine beside the Manila City Hall, the city government announced Tuesday.

The drive-thru vaccination site will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 6.

Motorcycle delivery riders for Grab, Angkas, Lalamove, Shopee, Mr Speedy, Lazada, and Foodpanda are eligible to receive their booster dose.

All brands of COVID-19 vaccine will be available at the site.

As of Tuesday, Jan. 4, about 121,461 booster doses have been deployed in the City of Manila.
