READ: Miss USA 2019 Cheslie Kryst's IG post before she died

A 30-year-old female was found dead on the ground by Manhattan, New York. Reports believed that the woman jumped off from the building. It was later on confirmed that it was Miss USA 2019 and "Extra" correspondent Cheslie Krsyt. She was 30 years old.

Her last Instagram post was less than 24 hours, wishing her followers a day of rest and peace.

She even posted an Instagram story, congratulating the new Miss USA Organ Romano and the new Miss Teen USA Gabby Ortega.

Today released a statement from the family, "In devastation and great sorrow, we share the passing of our beloved Cheslie. Her great light was one that inspired others around the world with her beauty and strength. She cared, she loved, she laughed and she shined. Cheslie embodied love and served others, whether through her work as an attorney fighting for social justice, as Miss USA and as a host on 'Extra.' But most importantly, as a daughter, sister, friend, mentor and colleague—we know her impact will live on.” The family asked for privacy as they process their loss.

"Our hearts are broken. Cheslie was not just a vital part of our show, she was a beloved part of our 'Extra' family and touched the entire staff," released Extra.
