PDEA seizes P3.4M worth of shabu in Pampanga buy-bust

Anti-narcotics authorities seized some P3.4 million worth of shabu following the arrest of a suspected drug pusher in a buy-bust operation in Mabalacat, Pampanga.

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) said that Dennis Balaba, 45, was collared during a buy-bust operation after months of surveillance and information from their assets.

In the drug bust, five pieces of knot-tied transparent plastic sachets containing more or less 500 grams of shabu and marked money used by the undercover agent to finalize the transaction were seized from Balaba.

Balaba faces charges for violation of Republic Act (RA) 9165, according to the PDEA.

The entrapment operation was conducted by the joint operatives of PDEA Pampanga and the local police. (Chito A. Chavez)
